76 cm barrels with bolted doll's head fastener, concave rib with maker's address "...from Purdey's...", choked 1/8 and 3/8, ejectors, brights action with scroll engraved boxlock with hanging sears, automatic sliding tang safety, double triggers, stock horns with engraved crossbolt, handsomely grained walnut stock with straight hand and drop points, 37 cm, fore-end with Anson push-rod, silver stock oval engraved with initials "P.C". E-L", 3 kg, in its original leather case for the pair with trade label, embossed on the lid with "P. C. Elliot-Lockhart", year of manufacture 1902, slight pitting marks beneath the fore-end and inscription on the rib becoming illegible at the No.1, otherwise condition 2-3.
