64,5 cm chopper lump-barrels of Whitworth steel with stepped engine-turned rib, third grip, express sights, inscribed with maker's address, extractor, action with refurbished colour hardening, self-opening, T-bolt action with rotary underlever beneath the trigger guard, bar-action sidelocks, intercepting sears and cocking indicators, disc-set strikers, gas-vents, side-clips and fences, all engraved with fine English rose- and scroll, automatic sliding tang safety with gold inlaid inscription "Safe", stalking safety with gold inlaid inscription "Bolted", lever shortened and thus inactive, beautifully grained walnut stock with shallow pistol-grip and oval cheekpiece 36,5 cm, steel pistol-grip cap and blank silver stock oval, fore-end with Anson push-rod, German claw mounted Zeiss Diatal-C 1,5x12, reticule No. 2, in its original maker's leather case with trade label (one side of the lid missing), year of manufacture 1898 and Nitro reproof for the later rebored chambers, refurbished to condition 2.
