76 cm chopper lump barrels of Whitworth-steel with concave rib, inscribed with maker's address, ejectors, choked 1/4 & 3/4, action with some of the hardening colours and fine English rose- and scroll engraving, self-opening bar-action sidelocks, cocking indicators and intercepting sears, disc-set strikers with gas-vents, automatic sliding tang safety with gold inlaid inscription "Safe", double triggers, beautifully grained walnut stock with drop points, straight hand and leather covered rubber recoil pad 37 cm, fore-end with Anson push-rod, gold stock oval with engraved monogram "CJB", all parts inscribed with "1" and "2", 3 kg, in its maker's original oak and leather case with trade label, complete accessories and 2 spare strikers, year of manufacture 1901, London reproofed in 1986, bulge in the middle of the right barrel of the No. 2 of about 0,3 mm, at a wall thickness of 0.75 mm at this point repairable with some effort, apart of that condition 3.
