61 cm octagonal barrel, engine turned top side, open sights, inscribed "Boehler Blitz Stahl" and "Jos. Orasche - Ferlach", rounded action with traces of colour, rotating T bolt action with underlever beneath the trigger guard, on the right a back action hammer lock, inscribed "J. Heinige in Wien", hammer with hare's ear spur, fine scroll engraved, single set trigger, folding aperture in tang, engraved steel buttplate with trap for 2 cartridges, original walnut full-stock, split fore-end with lever fastener, semi-pistol grip, oval cheekpiece, Viennese claw mounted Kahles Mignon 4x20, lenses a little dull, year of manufacture presumably before 1900, obsolete Ferlach proof, Joseph Heinige is registered in Vienna about 1880, the barrel has presumably been replaced in 1937 in Ferlach, condition 4. The seller also offers reloading components /dies for this hard to get calibre.
