A very rare collector's weapon, especially in Europe! Was only introduced to the US forces for a few years, replaced by the Springfield 1903. Our present example impresses by a good to very good original condition with a slightly stained or patinated finish. Nice walnut stock, fair bore, no proof, condition II-III.
