76 cm barrels, flat rib, engraved with maker's name "Missillieur a Vienne", behind that gold inlaid cords and gilt maker's marks "Missillieur in Wien", tang engraved with foliate scroll, trophies, sun and globe, numbered "2" (of a pair), blank silver monogram plate, bar action hammer locks, 30% engraved with foliate scroll, flat dolphin-shaped hammers, double triggers, large trigger guard in English style engraved with trophies, front in pineapple shape, walnut stock, sloping cheek piece, fine chequering, en-suite engraved steel cap 36 cm, barrel with wedge fastener, ramrod with brass tip, square sling swivels, year of manufacture before 1834, probably later adapted to percussion, Johann Baptist Missillieur came from Lyon, was recorded as master gunmaker in Vienna in 1821 and moved to Prague in 1834, he was renowned for his high quality weapons, condition III.
